The Music World Express or franchisee store is a 300 to 600 sq.ft. trading area that is located either independently in malls / high streets or as shop in shops within in large departmental store/fashion store and caters essentially to items of immediate requirement of the consumers. The product portfolio contains new releases, chart busters and range essentials. Any special request is captured through a Customer Request Log or CRL which is serviced from the destination store.
MusicWorld Unplugged is a single gondola placed in high traffic outlet and caters to the need of the impulsive consumer and the product portfolio comprises only chartbusters of the week or the just released titles.
One of the principal value intentions of Music World is to provide consumers with superior range and collections. It has embarked on a new tag line for the brand which says “if its in your blood, its on our racks.” The design of its consumer service is one of the most important aspects of the value proposition.
Music & Movies are displayed by genres and the titles are stacked alphabetically from left to right within each of the genres, to make it convenient for consumer browsing. The staff it houses is well trained on handling consumer queries related to product.
Music World was a National Co-sponsor of the Fact quiz conducted by Child, Relief & You or CRY in the year 2006. Every year, the organisation also contributes to the Ability Foundation in Chennai, an organisation working for the physically challenged. 31.05.2007
