The Kidz Maths franchise for number plays

The Kidz Maths franchise was initiated by Divesh Shah in 1998 under the name ‘The maths show’. These stage shows which were based on tricks with numbers pioneered the launch of the training service franchise. The magic number franchise was mainly aimed at popularising mental mathematics among the ordinary public.

The Kidz Maths franchise thus attempted to renovate the lost interest of people in amazing tricks with numbers. Presently, more than 400 performances of the Maths Show were conducted in different parts of the world. The amazing popularity of these numerical shows made parents make eager queries to Divesh on whether he could make their children more interested in mathematics by teaching easy methods of calculations and other magic with numbers.

This made the Kidz Maths franchise come up with ‘The Maths Show-Part II’, which consisted of many more tricks with numbers and covered even wider topics. Later, ‘The Puzzle Show’ was launched in order to make maths even more fun. Audience participation was yet another feature of these magic number puzzles. The number tricks made them all spell bound. But, people who now realised the scope of fun involved in mathematics wanted Divesh to come up with more interesting number shows. The latest addition made by Divesh to his long list of games with numbers is ‘The Sudoku Show’.
