Nahar Industrial Enterprises started its journey toward its current position in 1983, when it was incorporated as Oswal Fats & Oils Limited. Eleven years later, the name was changed to Nahar Industrial Enterprises and in 1997; it merged with the greige fabric manufacturer, Nahar Fabrics Limited.
In the year 2002 Oswal Cotton Mills Limited took the place. Oswal Cotton Mills Limited was a manufacturer of processed fabrics and finished garments. The “Cotton County.” apparel brand was launched in 2002 and in 2005, the yarn manufacturer, Nahar International Limited and Nahar Sugar & Allied Industries Limited merged.
Currently, Nahar Industrial Enterprises has 159,408 spindles and 6320 rotors to produce different counts of yarn. It’s weaving capacity with 426 looms, modern processing plant with capacity of 1, 15,000 metres per day. It has a modern dyeing house with a capacity to dye 6 tonnes yarn per day and has a garment facility for manufacturing 20, 00,000 pieces per annum.
Today, Nahar Industrial Enterprises has 150 retail outlets that sell readymade garments under the” Cotton County” Brand and a 2500 TCDs Sugar Mill. 23.05.2007
