The electronic products franchise is the hub for its South West Asia regional operations and it is the headquarters, which takes care of the operations in Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives, Bhutan and Bangladesh.

The Samsung India Electronics franchise commenced its operations in December 1995, in India and is currently enjoying a sales turnover of more $1 billion in just a decade of commencing business in the country. The electronic products franchise has its head quarters in New Delhi, with a network of 19 branch offices across India. The retail franchise has complex manufacturing facilities for colour monitors, colour televisions, washing machines and refrigerators in Noida near Delhi.

All these products made by the Samsung India Electronics franchise such as colour televisions, refrigerators and colour monitors are being exported to CIS, Middle East and SAARC countries from the Noida manufacturing complex. Currently, the electronic products franchise has more than 1600 employees and around 18 per cent of its employees are involved in research and development. 21.05.2007
