Establishment and development of the Reebok franchise
By 1981, the sales of the Reebok franchise exceeded $1.5 million, and in 1982, it introduced the first athletic shoe called Freestyle, which was designed especially for women and was a shoe for a new fitness exercise called aerobic dance. The clothing and footwear business made significant advancements in its product range and new categories were introduced. All the initiatives of the footwear franchise helped it to expand into overseas markets, and currently its products are available in more than 170 countries.
In 2000, the Reebok franchise revolutionised how people exercise and train by launching its Reebok Core Training and the Reebok Core Board. The innovative workout, which is used by conditioned exercisers, professional athletes and beginners, is a dynamic strength and conditioning program, which focuses on developing the full body power by paying attention to the torso, abs and core muscles. 06.06.2007
