Mission of the Computer Troubleshooters franchise

The Computer Troubleshooters franchise aims at creating a worldwide network of independent computer professionals who are able to respond to the needs of business and home computer, providing the necessary services through experience and skills. The computer rental services franchise has a vision to become the first choice for those seeking computer and business technology assistance.

The founders of the computer services franchise are Wilson and Suzanne McOrist, who began developing the concept in 1996. They sold their previous franchise, Express Bookkeeping, which had grown to over 200 locations in Australia and New Zealand and established Computer Troubleshooters. Computer Troubleshooters USA was formed in 1999 by Chip Reaves, who had previously built his own computer service business (CHIPTECH Computer Services) into one of the largest small business computer service firms in Georgia. The McOrists and Chip Reaves now form the senior management team that drives the company globally.

The first two locations were set up in 1997 and from them onwards the organization has grown to over 450 locations in New Zealand, Kuwait, Australia, Greece, Spain, Ireland, Holland, the USA, Canada, England, India, Romania, Egypt, Portugal, Hong Kong and Singapore. Regularly, new locations are being added and Computer Troubleshooters is in the process of covering all parts of the world.
